SOUTH-SOUTH’S MOST CONSISTENT MUSIC AWARDS, PMFA HOLDS TODAY IN CALABAR
Paradise Music Festival & Awards (PMFA) is undoubtedly South-South Nigeria’s most consistent music industry award.
The PMFA is a product of South Central Communications, whose record contributions in the Music industry in Cross River is ground breaking; with a sole vision of propelling an energetic driven economy in musical productions, where stakeholders in the creative industry and performing artistes are predominantly empowered and engaged lucratively.
Over the years, the Mista Xto founded Effiom Trombone led team sustained its core essence, which is the creation of an enabling environment for music talent discovery and celebration of musical inventiveness.
South Central Communication, organizers of the annual award ceremony receive entries by qualified artistes, who meet the requirement for creative works released within the period under review. The impact crossed borders with the introduction of categories and nomination for musicals works from nearby Akwa Ibom State.
Proximity, cultural heritage and language create a strong bond between Akwa Ibom and Cross River states, PMFA has successfully used music and musicians to build a bridge of unity. The 7th award ceremony held in Uyo brought together entertainers from both states under one roof, to celebrate their contribution to the growth of the industry in the region.
This year, in its 8th edition, PMFA returns to its base and place of origin, Calabar, with sponsorship by the government of Cross River state.
Ladies and gentlemen… It’s the season of sweetness, the progenitor is glad to collaborate with Cross River Movie Awards (CRMA) to host the Most Valuable Players (MVP) edition today, December 16,2023 at Kada Cinema Hall, Marina Resort, Calabar with sponsorship from Cross River State Government.
