This one’s case is just different. The Akwa-Cross Rapper combines the Efik and Ibibio language in rap lines to gain a prolific uniqueness like no other. Tyrex A graduate of Public Admin. UNICAL currently based in Uyo has made recommendable efforts in promoting Ibibio language in all of his songs. Having worked with the likes of Grand father, Upper X, Zillions, Ty control, Bobby frank, Jammy Man and more. His debut single Itohowo brought the rapper great fame and since then he’s yet to dissapoint fans as his “I Need Money” also made great positive impact and now the “they hate me” single currently trending.

Born Christian basset Ben, Casino Black is one of the oldest in the game to have survived thus far Dating way back as 2006, as at 2010 Casino already had two albums to his credit featuring indigenous topshots like; uwen EDI IMO, late Lucky Ben, Xzdee, mighty Jordan, Dr Chiba and the legendary Sir Wilker Jackson.
Made a great come back this year dropping dope joints featuring headliners in the South including Nasiru, Brown Edu, Pope Don X, Zillions, Upper X and lots more

Imoh Jeremiah EKPO a.k.a Udo JerryEk from Essien Udim L.G.A is one guy we just couldn’t omit in this list. Though in recent time not much has been coming from him, the self acclaimed “Lyrical Amplifier” debuted with a dope freestyle on Da Suspekt’s “Song Idem” mix tape, JerryEk got signed to “Force Records” where he dropped the hot single “Money (Akuk)”. Trust it was a massive hit which got backed up with “Flows” where he lyrically allowed his versatility flow… We wait to hear more from the rapper but for now no hint of anything coming

What’s more? the Ibibio Jagaban in 2016 emerged winner of the Easma Awards & NCIB next rated indigenous Act of the year. Steadily putting the language on the map & Zeds surely still gat more to unleash for everyone supporting the brand so far.

The Graduate of Epic Music college debuted with Dagha Mi Ke Iso featuring D-zaya and Marwin and complimented it with a dope video… Y’all are witnesses he did well. Plus got awarded jam of the week at Nestbestsound.
Having worked with reputable producers in the South including “Krozzybeatz, Nerosparkz, Kelv j & RexMadeIt. His second joint (CAROLINA) featuring Nayme Harvey x Morien is quite far from disappointing fans. Seems the boi got loads of quality vibes yet to unleash … We dey wait.

Marked his international debut with a feature in Otis Maho’s Jack Bauer alongside Ycee (jagaban) The song is one of the most talked about song in Nigeria that featured Ibibio language. Aired in all top promotional platforms including Trace and MTV base, Linda ikeji blog, naijaloaded and Tooxclussive .
Not much was known bout this Rapper untill after this collaboration, the graduate of Theatre Arts went ahead to unveil his street anthem “Eyen Uyo” which became the rave of the moment and backed it up with a dope video ft G’wiz and directed by Wemzi Cool. The rapper did a couple of fresh works including the tribute dedicated to the victims of the Reigners Church tragedy with less Ibibio flows though then the release of “Sukuta” (a song that’s still raving the whole country from airplay to media hype) Where he reaffirms his versatility in bursting both Ibibio and English flows. Formally known as “Indigenous Malik” made his debut entry with “Itipe Ke” where he comically communicated the future impossible terms of some high ranking Nigerians being broke, since then it’s been hit after hit and before we could say “jack” the Boy became the most sort after Ibibio rapper as at when he released “Play Me and Wuo Dòk which featured Bobby Frank. Ikpa Udo bagged series of awards and nominations played top shows and piew! Moved to Lagos and next we heard, (adi fim flag Maximum Disturbance #ikor. ) in other news he got signed to “Maximum Disturbance Entertainment ” and has been keeping it real ever since with hits including “Nsuto Gbedu, Right Now, Ke Nsi Nsi and Ayakid ” making mad wave across the country.
