#10: G’wiz Jones.
Jeremy Jones a.k.a “G’wiz” is a Nigerian-based Afro-pop rapper from AKS worthnote. His hit Single “Bossé” featuring Brown Edu introduced him to instant stardom. The badguy also made great impact in Brown’s EyenUyo which is currently the Street Anthem in The south, & has Performed alongside A-list Stars including; Lilkesh, Harrysong, Ycee, Mr Raw, etc. And has worked with top producers including; Kezyklef, Manpizy, Otyno, etc. Unconfirmed source has it that the boi is upto featuring Olamide in “Bossé rmx”

#09: D’saya
Ekemini Dennis a.k.a D’Saya is without disputation for now the fastest Ibibio Rapper. Dope with punchlines nd wordplays the rapper practically slayed don x’s Rise of Kings and every feature he ever jumped on, and Have dropped a couple of songs including “Ima Mmi, Masaka and Ndito” all which has been of great success so far, changing the rap landscape of Akwa Ibom. The boi is baaad!!!
The name Picollo most often than not, rings a bell to most of the music lovers in the south. Known for his creative lyrical tenacity and explosive stage performances, the New Haven Money Group (NHMG) frontman whose real names are Idongesit Thompson has been quite impressive for a while now. His monster hit SKELEWA which took Akwa Ibom and radio stations nationwide by storm got him a spot in this rankings. With a dope video, the jam has cemented his place among the hearts of music lovers. Sources has it that the EASMAwards “Artiste of the Year” 2015 is currently working on his EP scheduled for release later in the year to feature productions by top producers such as: Suka, Otyno, O’giver, Shebongky beatz, Clonbaba…
This is definitely another dude to watch out for this year.

#07: Pop Don X
He is believed to be one of the most energetic performers in the south.
Don X has been around for quite a long time now nd has an album “Behind the Cathedral” and countless singles to his credits. His “sexy little thing” single stays evergreen, crowned with the video of “The Reign of kings” the rastaman is definitely coming in strong this year.

The number Don Pay Money One Capone on the Microphone!… the Nsa Isong crooner, remains the most relevant wen it comes to Ibibio raps. With countless awards nd norminations nd a fresh mixtape with endless features nd productions from all top hitmakers in the south. Ernest Augustine, a graduate of Journalism and Mass-communication in Sikkim Manipal University, Ghana. Has been doing just wonderful from his rap days with countless mixtapes to date with numerous dope singles including “Sike diana, enie iba do, Advice, Yogosina, and lately Afro Twerk. #04: Sagas.
Jason Worlings a.k.a “eyen obong owo” has been around from the scratch dropping dope vibes from the time of Uniuyo street anthem and even before. His form hip hop single was a smash hit aired via top media platforms bagging him numerous awards and norminations, however his relevance is still very strong with his uyo people. His sosongo single ft Whytesax was dope with a complimenting video from Choszer and recently his Pray for Uyo song. This guy just dont ever stop.
#03: Brown Edu.
If you’re not familiar with the signature “y’already know who this is!” Then you obviously havn’t been listening to anything good lately. The self aclaimed controversial rapper has been below radder untill last year when he made his international appearance on Otis Maho’s “Jack Bauer” track alongside Ycee (Jagaban). Since then this Gee’s made himself unavoidably relevent… and just incase you havn’t heard his “missing you tribute” you must have watched Eyen Uyo video which has undisputably become the rave of the moment. The boi dopper than dope spitting both ibibio nd English vibes.
#02: Lybra
This ‘awoor’ boi first became quite impressive when he slayed Dj Peejay’s “Fresh Fish” single. Previously this high life slayer wasnt doing bad either, however stardom met him When Galaxy signed him outa idiok aboi gang to MCG Empire. So far the nigga has made countless appearances with “A” list artists accross the state and his hit single baby tomatoe still trends.

Nana Abidiak a R&B/Afro pop Artiste, from Oron in Akwa Ibom State born and brought up in phcity, professionally emerged in 2010, when she dropped “Oh” which paved way for her being awarded BEST FEMALE R&B ARTIST OF THE YEAR AND BEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR 2010 Odudu Awards South-south Nigeria. Since then are countless singles with videos to her credits such as “Don’t leave me, Simma Down ft Dantonio, Imma mmi ft Duncan Mighty, Sweetie potato and currently her Latest single Bascalaba” which is currently raving the airwaves.
