Dr Aniekeme Aniefiok Uwah the State Epidemiologist was today 24th April removed from office on the grounds of taking samples of COVID-19 and sending them for testing without the conscent of the Commisioner for Health… hence he is being accused of insubordination… that’s all.

In a facebook post made by the Socialite Asteroid Bassey he states…

“Disregard any syndicated message claiming ‘”Dr Aniekeme Uwah bangs phone on Governor of Akwa Ibom State”.

Such only exist in minds of media syndicates playing politics with the health of Akwa Ibom People and will remain a figment of their ill imaginations.

As at the time of posting this message, Dr Aniekeme Uwah has never spoken on phone with the Governor, whom he holds in very high esteem.

The truth remains that Akwa Ibom State Epidemiologist, Dr Aniekeme Uwah was removed today from office for taking samples of COVID – 19 suspected cases against the wishes of the Commissioner for Health, Dr Dominic Inyang Ukpong. Dr Uwah’s phone is on”

He went on to share screenshots from Media aides whatsapp groups conspiring to thicken these allegations on the grounds of the Doctor agitating for the Nigerian Medical Association Uyo Chapter to War against the Government of the state…
