Kufre Carter is a Sport Analyst / Journalist of XL Radio station Uyo who was arrested and is being detained by men of the DSS since 27th April 2020 for describing the level of responsiveness to the COVID19 incidence by the State Commissioner for Health as “Poor”.
Effort by well meaning citizens and legal advocates to release the Journalist has been to this moment fruitful but not completely successful as the DSS are denying him freedom even after him being granted bail in Court…
Efforts are relentless and top Media houses including the Linda Ikeja platforms and Human Rights Community are joining the campaign for the Freedom of the young man and recently AIT had this to say 👇
