Star was inspired by a real life situation. “I’ve just had this hurtful breakup at the time and resorted to vibing to any beat that came my way. So i came across Star instrumentals online, vibed to it and it was perfect; exactly how i visualized it so i hit up Calliemajik (who produced the beat) and the rest is history”.
