University of Uyo set to find cure to coronavirus, as Alumni Association donates ₦5million COVID-19 Research Grant.
In a bid to find a cure to Coronavirus, members of the University of Uyo Alumni Association on Friday, donated a N5 million support grant for COVID-19 medical research.
The donation was made on behalf of the association by the president of the association, Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke.
It was presented to the Akwa Ibom State Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) and the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Uyo.
Hon. Luke, a member of the House of Representatives, said the grant is the association’s contribution in support of efforts to find solutions to the COVID-19 scourge, which has ravaged the world. . .
